Ms. Lydia Pope has been in the real estate industry since 1995. Her passion lies in working within the communities she serves and providing financial literacy services.

She has been a Branch Manager for NID HCA Pope Agency since 2006 and has been extremely active in the NID HCA network. Some of her accomplishments include auditing NID offices, assisting in the training of other housing counselors nationally, conducting effective and productive workshops over the years (ranking as one of the top 5 offices), and opening the NID Homeownership Center in Detroit, MI.

Lydia Pope is the Owner and President of E&D Realty & Investment Co., Inc., E&D Property Management, and New Era Real Estate. She is currently the President of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, Inc. (NAREB) and the Past President of the Women’s Council of NAREB.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a Master’s degree in Business and Project Management. She is also a Partner with "Man Talk Inc.," a non-profit organization (www.mantalkinc.com) dedicated to helping men from all walks of life, across different races, ages, and religions, to focus on financial literacy, mentoring, and motivating men to reach new levels.
